I think it is logical. The most important information is in the first place, important in everyday life. Here, for example, when asking what date it is, one usually gets a simple answer: "25th" - (no month, no year).

Because a computer is a logical thing. If I say,25th of march,it will still bring up infinite results, same with Matthias. On the other hand, entering the surname/year first narrows the results down to considerably less, and 365 days from infinite. Thats why we are among the most logical people,we use both our names and our dates this way.
it has logic only if we use year too, so 09-07-08.
name-surname - only Hungary and Korea have it upside down

The worst part of the trip was Ljubljana when I came back. Accident on the northern bypass, roadworks on the southern bypass, rush hour in the city. I was more time in jam on the Ljubljana bypass than I was driving from Graz to Klagenfurt.

Well, I'm off to one of the smallest countries in the Alps tomorrow

Yes Verso, I'm coming to beautiful Slovenia. I will be in Ljubljana for one day, but I'm not yet sure which day

That's why I said "one of the smallest countries in the Alps"

There are also villages called Ljubljana and Maribor next to each other in NE Slovenia. Maybe Timon is going to that one. Don't miss Maribor while there.

Well that would be entertaining... calming day in some wooden house, beautiful landscape outside... no noise of cars like in this bigger Lj.

I was caught by a speed camera in France last year, doing 110 where 90 was allowed (RN 7), but I never got a fine

I also haven't got a fine yet from Switzerland, while I did speed on some motorways where only 100 was allowed... I was just a tad over the limit there though.

Once I was doing 190 km/h in Switzerland. I would've been banned from the country, had they got me.

Yeah Chris, and you say that you are always going slowly and relaxing...

Well what was my fastest journey ? About 200 km/h A4, direction Katowice behind Wrocław, I was little bit scared to be honest, but self BMW was nice

But usually if enough lucky then on german autobahn in our poor car (75 BHP) we can speed up to 170-180 km/h from time to time

Well...just like I said

Nah not really, I usually drive the limit in NL (=120) and 130 - 140 in Germany.

Not really racing, but not that slow either.

That non speed limit in Germany is somehow annoying because there are loads of nutters doing much over 200 km/h, blinking at you to make speace for them
