I was just comparing some truck prices between US and NL...

Toyota Tundra is sold for around $ 32,000 in the US (new), but you're out $ 65,000 in the Netherlands for the same car

Not that I could afford such a car, by the way. I probably can't even afford the gasoline consumption of such a truck.

This thing has a gasoline mileage of 14 mpg or 1:6
LPG tends to be even less fuel efficient than petrol, so it would probably run about 1:4. That means refill every 280 km with a 70 liter tank

Who would buy this? (except for Americans who like to tank every single day)

Oh boohoo. Just start your own company and convert it to LPG. That will take 20k of the price and 2/3 of the fuel cost.

uf, look for instance BMW M3: US price $57850, HR price €92660 (what would be $132500)

I don't think America levies additional taxes besides the sales tax. European countries usually have some kind of extra excise tax that doubles the actual value of a vehicle. 50% of the price of a car is baked air, as the Dutch say.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it? Also, gasoline is significantly cheaper in America. But most people buying that truck are either farmers or business people who need it for heavy transport or rednecks

Come dressed as a clown, and you'll get gasoline for € 1,05 per liter.

My neighbors had a fight (again):

*Mr: You're always grumpy
*Mr: It's because you're always going to bed too late
*Mrs: -inaudible-
*Mr: Shut the **** up
*Mrs: You should go to your mother's house
*Mr: No, you should go to your mother's house

etc.
