Just shows everyone can appear on TV nowadays.

'Hi, my name is John and I fart 5000 times a day while eating my breakfast. I'm not afraid of eating and farting at the same time, cause I'm pretty good at it'

Pathetic.

yeah, the figure is correct...

why do you think it is not enough?
its enough for 2-300km motorway or 5-700km main road per year...

(and maintenance is nothing, its a few 10 billions...)
No-no! You counted ticket-controllers and train drivers for trains, then count police officers, traffic lights,snow-plowers and such things for roads!

Its not a few 10 billion of maintenance, there's about 170000kms of roads in Hungary! 10 year schedule means 17000 km a year...100million/km is 1700 billion/year! Where is the 500 billion now? And of course,400 billion goes to motorway construction.

Always fun to drive in the winter. I guess this happened during a blizzard.

nope.
there are 30.000km state road and 43.000km paved local gov. road...
the rest (97.000km) is UNPAVED dirt road which is unmaintaned...

and where do you get the 400bill?
do you think we spent 8000bill for motorways in the last 20 years?
so where is the 4-6000km motorway?

Like half of Budapest...so lets consider those too. But even if its "only" 80000 km,thats still about 850 billion HUF...

Well,M6(260b),M43(61b),M0(~100b),M86,just this year...and of course, the planning of others, next year, maybe even in the current one, M3,M9...shall I continue? And a lot of minor projects arent counted. More than 1000 billion is spent on roads even in the worst-case scenario every year, which is more, than the combined fuel tax of cars+trucks...and of course, the fuel tax of trains, buses, airplanes, etc are also poured into the roads.

Figure of speech. But there are unpaved roads here and there. Especially areas which were villages before they merged with the city(=suburban parts).

There are very few unpaved streets in Ljubljana... except my street! They still haven't finished it, they've been renovating sewage for almost a year, I feel like living in Afghanistan!

It's different here. They're working all the time, now even on Saturdays and Sundays 12 hours a day. They've dug holes on the same places at least ten times already, so I think they're just fu**ing around. Imagine being woken up at 6.30 on Saturdays and Sundays and hearing the noise all day. I'm totally sick of them, I'll send them bill for cracks on my house.

Over a year? That's long. I used to be woken up by traffic on the A2 when I moved to a new room in my parents' house, but I'm used to it now. I'm not really bothered by the noise, I just don't hear it anymore.

Almost a year. But if you add noise from building a new house next to mine just prior to that, it's been a year and a half of unbearable noise, particularly in the summer with open windows. It's like an industrial zone or sth. Just prior to the sewage renovation they laid optical fibers, but instead of just continuing with sewage renovation, they (some other guys) paved the street to be dug out just a couple of weeks later.
