They even needed to do a study to prove that well known fact?

Hands-free or not, when you speak over telephone while driving, you usually drive by "autopilot". To prove that, just try to thnk, how did you drive while making a phone call. Usually people (like me) don't remember anything about what happened on the road.

Yeah, this has been known since the 1990's when hands-free devices became common. The main problem is really not holding a cell phone (I always drive with one hand on the wheel), but having that conversation. Of course texting is even more distracting.

There's a whole bunch of things on a list that is distracting while driving. Eating, nose-picking, drinking, changing CD's, listen to a radio show, singing, taking pics, shaving, reading the paper, smoking, or any of these combined.

Thats regular style RV camping , and i wish they would stay off the Parkway systems. Driving next to those things is scarier then a Truck.

Parkways are off-limits for commercial traffic, but I don't think such a bus-RV is considered commercial traffic. But do they fit under the Long Island Parkway overpasses?

I plan to attach it to the center of the dash board with velcro so I can film just over the wiper blades.
Hmm wow, good price. I think a similar camcorder here in Canada would be much more expensive.

I am also thinking of buying an HD camcorder for this same purpose, except I am also going to buy a car, sometime in June, after I finish university (1 more month ) and return from my trip to Europe (thinking of dropping by NL actually, though not confirmed yet).

I'm thinking of getting this camera. The Exmor-R sensor is supposed to have very good low-light performance, so I am hoping to be able to shoot some night driving videos as well.

New seat belt campaign in Estonia. "Buckle up in the back!"

The reason for this is that even though only 4% of the people don't wear a seat belt in the front seat, 20% of people don't wear it in the back. But when you don't wear it in the back, you're also a potential murderer of the person sitting in front of you.

Apparantly, it was a new shop, and they had some real discount of electronics. The whole area was gridlocked, angry soccer moms who couldn't bring their kids to school.
