I doubt that it's dangerous. I don't think that the German Government would allow it if it was dangerous.

It looks "dangerous" just because of a huge zoom.

There are bridges in Baton Rouge and New Orleans that have railways in the middle of them ( at 0:30 and 3:30)

Hey guys

I really couldn't find a better place to ask this question, haha.

Does anyone know what's the fastest possible way to get to Nijmegen in the Netherlands from Dortmund Airport? I would appreciate if it was cheap as well. Also, it's going to be saturday, I guess it matters.

I assume you mean by car.

Dortmund Airport is east of the city. I would suggest using B1 and B236 to A2, then to Oberhausen, A3 southbound for a short section, then A42 across the Rhine and then A57 north to Nijmegen.

I wouldn't recommend using A40 at the moment, as this road is undergoing significant roadworks near Bochum and A42 is the detour route.

Ohh, I'm so sorry, I didn't specify the question. I meant any other mean of transport, but car. If I had a car I wouldn't even ask about it. :P

Not many years from now M6 will go to the Croatian border, so now they made just half of the necessary junction, and when the other part will be built they will make the other half. It may look strange now, but when it will be ready it will look like any other motorway junction.

Just go on www.bahn.de and type "Dortmund Airport" or "Dortmund Flughafen" as starting point and Nijmegen as destination, choosing day and hour.

Bahn.de and other HAFAS-based websites like www.sbb.ch usually can propose any sort of trip, including local transport and walking paths.

Driving in such condition (usually?) is forbidden by law, isn't it?
