I hardly see any Irish trucks as well, but there are two seas between us and Ireland, so that's not strange

I see Irish trucks from time to time too. They usually drive very fast. (60 mph?)

Yeah, quite some of them. The amount of LT/LV/EST trucks is about the same. But a few years ago, they were very rare.

No shiny crashbarriers

I don't see many Slovenian trucks, probably one every two weeks.

Slovenian and Croatian not that often. I saw a BIH plate a few days ago, but it was a long time before I saw one of those. GR and TR trucks are more likely in the Southern Netherlands. Hungarian trucks are also increasingly common, as well as RO and BG trucks. To be frank, there are few European countries which I almost never see. I think M, MK, MD, MNE, AND, RSM, MC, FL and CY plates are the rarest, but most of them are tiny countries.

I think I've never seen SRB, MNE and IS plates in the Netherlands, and I've never seen MNE plates in other countries too. I usually look at all the license plates I can see on the motorway, you'll see interesting things

The best is to check out embassy neighborhoods, you can see a lot of non-European plates there.

Some years ago my parents got me an ANWB childrens' road map of France. You could mark all departements of which you had seen license plates. Quite interesting and it gives your children something to do on a long ride

You drive a 407? I always liked that car. I thought you had a 406, my parents used to have that one 6 years ago.

PS Infrastructure & Mobility has almost 200.000 posts and H&A accounts for nearly a quarter of that. There's quite some interest in highways & Autobahns I try to read everything what is posted.

But, you don't need that road (G3) any more, we have A5 now.
