BTW rough days here... Our government is undergoing a huge crisis again - the amateur-politicians of the "Public affairs" party annoucned withdrawal of it's ministers yesterday, yet today one of them - minister of transport - refused to resign on these terms ... I don't know how the political situation does look like in other EU countries but the amateurism and irresponsibillity of our "leading forces" is really incredible

The Netherlands is not much better. A lot of populism but no solutions.

Current politicians are full of populism, and stupid and ignorant ideas.
Almost every unsuccessful and mediocre in his domain becomes a politician and gives the people lessons about everything. The world is full of so called professional politicians, people that are not good at anything (else), but speaking bull and raising their hands.

Don't start with politics here, please. Everywhere is more or less the same.

Politicians are people that are not able to be anything else.

Is "Novak" a common Hungarian surname? It's the most common Slovenian surname, but in some movie someone said it was Hungarian. Then again, it was an American movie.

All the Novaks I know (Jan, Jiri, Kim) are Czech.

But this one is Hungarian:

Yes, it is. However I am 100% sure this name has a foreign, probably Slav origin.

Do you think the road to Malbun is passable this weekend?
http://g.co/maps/zt8r8

I saw two videos on YouTube, and giving the current weather conditions, there could be snow, and since I'm not an experienced driver in those circumstances on sloped windy roads, I have winter tires, but no chains, maybe it' best to avoid, and perhaps return in summer?

If you got winter tires you should not have problems, unless 30 cm of snow fall within 1 day...

If you have fairly good winter tyres there should be no problem. I drove during winter on mountain roads covered with snow and I had no problems at all even without snow chains. As spinoza says, if there won't be 30 cm of new fresh snow in one day everything will be fine, but this won't happen in April...

But old snow at least on webcam. Not a snowflake on roads.

Took some photos today of a closed/abandoned bridge outside Stensele, Sweden. This bridge served E45 (Riksväg 45 back then) roughly 30 years ago maybe.

Road sign still intact "Ume älv", in english Ume River
