That hospital looks like abandoned, so human logic is "get anything from there if it's free"...

Has anyone here in the forum driven on the Struma and on the Ljulin motorways and compared them? The difference in quality is very obvious, the Ljulin motorway ages badly, looking at walls and other things. Anything done on the Ljulin motorway looks old, anything done on the Struma motorway looks like was done a week ago. It shows that the quality really has gone down. but I have trust the new section will be good, since it will be made by a company, which is known for extremly good roads.

Those barriers are shiny too. But I'm sure they will rust immediately, not as the Struma ones.

PS: damn romanian truckers, always on the wrong side of the highway!

Well, sir, there's nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide, electrified, six-car monorail!

Due to Photobucket f*cking up, most images won't be visibile in my old posts. If you need anything specific, please write me.

Yeah, I agree. No crash barriers can be as shiny as the ones from Struma.

It's opened just half-profile now, but will be full-profile on June 2nd.

Hells Bells pub in da house, technical museum in front of my window, high school (gymnasium) just a minute of walk away, elementary school at the end of the street and PiDivadlo (which can be translated as TinyTheather) at the nearby corner Guess the location and beat it

Yeah, the photo is outdated. After 1989 there was Restaurant Asia, then Amazonia, after that Prague cats and now there is a Hells Bells pub... and I am almost certain that I forgot some other name of the pub ))

I am on a weekend getaway. Tomorrow I plan on going to Hinterlux and taking a cable car to the summit.

Also, I want to drive as further as possible on B-169. I read once it was possible to go to Italy via that route but it is cut somewhere before the border and converted into a pike/hiking path.

Going to the Hintertux summit really pays off on a clear day. You can see absolutely everything from there, overlooking the Italian Dolomites.

B169 will take you to the Schleggeis Lake, and itīs a dead end from there. But if you donīt mind a two-hour hike, you will be on Italian soil. I think that road is open now all the way to the end, in the winter itīs normally closed after the village of Ginzling.
