Indeed, I used to live on 50 m2 (as a newborn ), then 70 m2, now 120.

Brescia has less than 200 000 inh. Maybe with the suburbs but they're quite far and not very integrated into Brescia's urban tissue.
(I grew up in Castelplanio, 3500 inh)

I hadn't thought about socialism in YU. But I think in the Western Block the average sq m per person is going down. In Italy it certainly is - larger apartments cost too much, and if some landlord owns a 100 sq m apartment, he makes more money by dividing it into two 50 sq m apartments and renting separately.

It depends on too many factors, for instance 1 sq m in a 10-storey building costs differently than 1 sq m in a detached house...

I would just like to now the difference between the actual cost of 1 appartment and the price on the market.

Oh, I see. I like the statistics for the city proper, and now I see I knew the figure including suburbs. Anyway, it has less than 200000 inh... and they are building a metro! .

PS: I hope for a hit Leudimin-Spinoza or vice-versa in EuroBillTracker. Leudimin is my user name there .

Heh, Czech Lukáš Rosol (100th best tennis player) defeated Rafael Nadal. But one third of everything he said after the game was "you know?".

I watched the game in a Bierhaus, must say the Germans were kind of disappointed after the game. I wasn't
Still on the way home from some cars I heard horns, must have been Italians

Thank you very much! I noticed how much you like your neighbours

Tomorrow I'll post some pics of Italian crazy supporters in the streets of Trieste

Great Balotelli!

Last Thursday I spent one day in Italy (Bergamo, Milano). My Italian is very poor, but every time I heard Italian people speaking to each other, the word 'Balotelli' was said in no more than two minutes for sure :-)

After the game Balotelli was asked by a journalist about the yellow card after his stunt with the jersey off. He answered "the referee must have been jealous of my body"

Quite interesting that Dutchman, Romanian, Hungarian and Pole prefer Italy, when Germany is nearer (or at the same distance)

I think it's normal. Germany is "too big a neighbour".

I wanted Germany to win yesterday... but I have to admit that Italy played better.

All Austrians around here didn't want Germany to win. They are very anti German in Tyrol.

I don't believe they were pro-Italy. We are still holding captive their Southern brethren...
