oh, it happens here at least 10 times per year there is onde place near Zadar very popular to do it, at least 2-3 cars per year end up in the sea at the same place. fortunatelys, the water is shallow.

but the best is from the last year when somebody stole touristic train and drove it to the sea

Waterspouts are quite common in the Adriatic and I love them. Are they common in Latvia?

Not quite common, they mostly appear in June and July. I have never seen waterspouts or tornados with my own eyes, but I have felt strong wind coming from this storm. That time I was at Fernetti terminal sleeping in the truck.

The LPG instalation is Lovato (italian company). Maybe in Slovenia your parents use exactly the same company. I've also seen other type of switches in Romania on other LPG converted cars.

Renault Thalia was sold in Romania as Renault Clio, and now it's Clio (the hatchback) and Symbol (the sedan). My mother drives a 2005 Renault Clio sedan, and my father's car is this Chevrolet Aveo that was converted on LPG. I don't have my own car.

I found here some details about the adapters. I think I have either the Dish or the ACME version (I think that's more close to Dish)... but now sure exactly which one. If I will travel abroad I might think about getting another adapter... Or do they have them in LPG stations?

Audi A4 (B5)...?

My frist and old car, an A4 Quattro 1.8t B5 (1999-2001), had a identical dashboard except for the trip computer screen, mine was bigger, had 2 colors (Yellow/Red) and allways with complete lines of dead pixels (all A4 B5 sold in spain had the same problem).

EDIT:

For a time I was planning to put LPG/GPL system in that car, but, suddenly brought a new diesel car.

Now I penitent because I'm fed up with TDI engines and I want a petrol (turbo) engine with GPL...

The Thalia Clio is my mother's, but I take it when I go on long trips because it's diesel and has good mpg.

You can see it in this picture from my Austrian trip:

Audi A4 B5 8D 1.9 TDI 2000.
But it has no FIS (board computer). Only date/time, total km, intermediate km (which I can reset), temperature, and icon messages (fuel low, car problems).
FIS was optional add-on at that time, and it seams the guy who bought it then, didn't payed for it. At least I have ABS, Servo and ASR (not ESP).
And the fuel consumption is very good.

Overall I am pleased with the car, would not give it back for my father's Dacia Logan

Here is the entire dash screen

Me neither, and I think that Latvian waterspout is a pretty big one, they're usually smaller.

Lol, where did you find this? Hmm, precisely 4 years ago. Actually it turned out to be "just" a downburst, but we had a tornado one or two years ago, although I can't remember it.

Just 621 miles to go . I remember when my 1999 Honda Civic hit the 100.000 kilometer mark on a road just North of Huesca, now it has some 30.000 km more. This car has a fun fact: When my parents bought it, I was at elementary school, and now I'm driving it!

My mother bought a car before I was born and it was the first car I drove after getting driving license!

Wasn't it Renault 4 ? You can still find many of these on Croatian coastline, I guess they were very popular in YU.

130.000 in 13 years? Almost new.

In few months my 12 year old Honda accord will also turn 300.000, expecting at least another 100.000 to go. It is working like new.
