Maintenance costs? MB maintenance can be really expensive.

Well, sir, there's nothing on earth like a genuine, bona fide, electrified, six-car monorail!

I can't find it on line, but there's a Top Gear from the early days of Internet directions where (in the part of the show where they're sitting around talking) they show an enormous printout sent in by a viewer who asked for directions for what should have been a 50-mile trip in England, but avoiding motorways.

Whatever site she used routed her through Ireland and France.

This one is also very economical on fuel, and still managed to blast with 170 km/h through Germany last night. Filled up on the Heerlen-Aachen border last night, and managed to get to Mayrhofen on one tank. Why a French plate? Through a French branch of a UK company that hires them there. Everyone will think I'm Lyonaise.... (69 Rhone-Alpes)

A van from a french maker to do express freight ?
Two french jokes about them:
Tous les jours ,avec Rinault, un bruit nouveau !
Quand tu pars en Rinault, tu reviens vlo !
Approximative translation :
All days, with Rinault, a new noise !
When you go away in Rinault, you come back on bike !

For your own information Road_UK:
I'm lyonnaise: feminine !
I'm lyonnais: masculine
But, yes you are right, very economical and confortable.

Only if you have problems.
And with MB, normally, you don't have any problems.
With french makers for exemple, I have a small Citro^n van, and I have many worries with.
If somebody wants it, I'm ready to sell it !

I have a Renault Kangoo van. I never had any non-regular wear-and-tear maintenance with it, apart from a lock that had to be replaced on the passenger's side. It's reliable (so far) and fuel efficient. On my last trip to France in July I managed to get 1 L / 22 km with it (or 4.54 L / 100 km)

Btw, would be interesting to know what is the highest speed a vehicle has ever been doing on the German motorway in normal traffic circumstances.

I found this one: 236 miles per hour (381 kilometers per hour): Porsche 9ff GTurbo850 at first google hit: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/5-fast...n-autobahn.htm
