god knows what part are they thinking of...
i know they are mad cause of some sea border in Istria... and there is some dispute near Karlovac and some in north near triborder with Hungary...
if they ask me i'd give them those few meters so they can leave us alone... shame that one country can stop negotiations but they weren't stopped when they were entering EU... back then we didn't complained about those borders...

Wow, I have never seen such ridicoulously complicated borderline

I bet sneaky Verso has something to do with it! Look, he's been absent for quite a while. And considering his love towards Croats, there's got to be something going on

i'm not sure how did those borders formed but it has something with ex-yugoslavia and period around 1990's when our countries were formed...

i found picture of a sea border that is disputed... i'm not sure who's fault is here, but if i was asked, i would let that line to slovenians and let them have their passage to open sea... we have thousands kms of shoreline, few meters really don't make a difference... sometimes we can be very stubborn...

as i was reading newspapers now... there are few more points of dispute...
they are mostly following the river lines along borders but those rivers are changing their flows and that's why we keep fighting over that... here are rivers Dragonja, Kupa, Sutla, Drava and Mura... all of them have variable flows and are a problem with determining the line...

Isn't the problem that SLO and CRO don't have fixed sea border?

it is. Croatian proposal is like shown at that map posted up there. Slovenian proposal is that whole bay would be SLovenia. so if you would step into sea there, you would exit from Croatia into Slovenia. it's stupid to me frankly.

btw, 37 mins to holidays

It was agreement of both governments (already long ago), that until all border disputes are to be solved, condition on date of 25.6.1991 is valid only.

Official Croatian documents, that were part of rejected (by Slovenia) negotiations, show Croatian proposal of new border and not condition on 1991-date.

Of course, there are also strong proposals in Slovenia from all sides to make referendum about Croatian integration in EU. Slovenian and Croatian politicians know, what outcome would be this, so they don't want to see referendum, but fast solving of border disputes. This Slovenian rejection of negotiations will almost certainly accelerate border talks.

i posted a map that shows Piran bay on slovenian or Savudria bay on croatian...
as i recall rule is that it should go along the middle of bay and that is croatian demand, but then it would close exit to international sea for slovenians so they want majority of that bay so they can sail freely to open sea...
i'd say we are right here, but then again, i'm bored with those arguing and i would just give them these few kms of sea and leave them alone... but we have stubborn politicians, both slovenians and croats

WTF? Timon, have mercy for my eyes

Radi, your balcony is kick-ass-invading shiny indeed but it's not smooth at all. Time to polish it
