>It should be from yesterday. At least half of them where Belgian farmers too

It should have been: When EU farmers are unhappy :p

Actually the latter one is not so wrong... considering the main road is one-way, the "Brit style road" has a meaning

Btw, I recognized Trieste even if I've been there only twice, and never saw those roads. The city has a stunning style...

Look at this, one of the most beautiful urban spaces in Europe

They have the same solution at Zagreb airport. But what's wrong with the first pic?

It's ambiguous because it looks like that you must stay in the rightmost lane to turn left (that is forbidden anyway). You (and other from your country) should know what is the building on the left.

However, look at this. Who have the priority?

First priority seems to go to the one driving like the picture is oriented in your link.
Then for the 2 stop signs, I would say the one left. The one right has to give right to the left stop.

If you drive 10 km/h too fast on the Gentbrugge Viaduct, you get a speeding ticket. If you enter a motorway with a tractor, the police helps you. Weird world, isn't it?

Kill one and you're a murderer. Kill a million and you're a conqueror.

Oh, come now!

I follow Belgian news, because I've been there and like it and can read the languages, and from what I can gather about this just from seeing headlines over the last couple of days, the issue is European Union farm subsidies and the protesters are from anywhere in Europe (how easily they can get to Brussels being a factor, of course...); it just happens to be in Belgium because that's where the EU is.

And the noun is Fleming, not "Flemm."

The reason for the protest was the lack of demand for milk and the subsequent low prices for it. They want the EU to regulate milk prices.

Most of the EU funding is directed towards agriculture. All the new EU funded roads have much more impact, but in reality most money flows to rural areas. Maybe the EU should change the name to the EAU: European Agricultural Union.

You're unlikely to get a speeding ticket in a tractor.
