And the noun is Fleming, not "Flemm."
You can say Flem or flemm, it might be informal but it's used enough for it to certainly be a word.

Like Brit or Aussie, they're not formal terms but they're still a word.

Well, I've never heard it, it's not in the Merriam-Webster dictionary online, and Google doesn't bring it up (under "flem definition") either. Must be British slang. How it was picked up by someone who lives in Washington, beats me.

It's a "T" intersection with 3 branches and so it must have only a stop sign. The traffic in what is regarded as main road should flow freely in both directions. Traffic from the secondary branch must give priority. Have you ever see a 3 branches intersection with stop signs on 2 branches? It make no sense.

Yes, actually I think there's one such intersection in Ljubljana. I don't get it.

Makes perfect sense to me. When you are coming on DK10, you want to have the map oriented with the direction, not with the north.

It is more interesting that such expensive solution was accepted. A normal schematic sign would do just fine, actually even better, because it wouldn't contain unnecessary information.

This is a fully informative display (VMS), very expensive, and a normal schematic sign could not be better solution, no way.
If operator wants, he can always remove unnecessary information.
On schematic one it is not possible.

I agree. It is better to show wide area on display oriented towards destination than towards cardinal points.

Interesting, if you calculate historic GDP per capita to current levels taking inflation and prices into account, the Netherlands was the world's richest country in 1820.
