Belgium has a lot of these roads to. When the old trees are cut down, new are often planted a bit further away from the road.

Avenues/Alleys are typical for Czech countriside and they are beautiful, especially in Vysočina.







Designed alleys are more special but trees around the roads are very common.



Between 2003 and 2010 was chopped down some 106 K trees around the roads. Only 63 K trees were planted.

Hitting a tree in a traffic accident had a deadly consequences in 132 cases during the 2009. That is 18 % of all deaths on the road in that year in the CZ.
