Cement used in modern concrete pavements is quite dark when fresh (which is cleary visible). And maybe concrete has already reached some strength to allow vehicle driving so far.

This car seems to be FSO Polonez, is it?

It isn't. It's 4 door version of Lada Samara, called "Forma" in Poland.

Currently here is snowing about 5 cm/2 in per hour for the last 4 hours. Its getting quite difficult to walk through streets. Not every winter is like that.

I hope winter will end soon, I had enough of cold and snow. I want sun, warmth and blue sky. I want to make roadtrips again

I stepped onto a black surface that I thought was asphalt and it turned out to be a puddle.

I like winter

Tomorrow morning I'm going to Austria for skiing in the Ski Amadé area. My roadtrip map should look like this.

I am really and deeply jealous. However, I am wondering if there isn't equally good ski resort closer to your home in Romania.

I do not live in such beautiful area, however it's still not bad. My house is located just 10 kilometres from here:

1.

2.
15 km from there:

3.
Less than 10 from here:

4.
40 km

5.
80-90 kms from Tatra mountains.

Only, bloody problem is that I am currently 1700 km from my place. My wife and children are enjoying half term in Poland, skiing and relaxing there, which is good, but I could not leave until April, because of looking after my business here in England, which is not good .
