HIDDEN GEM IS AWAKENING

This has to be one of the best locations to live in hamilton. Its just a stunning location. Lots of families, and friendly people. New young people moving in will definitly make this area an even more disirable location. Local agents are saying south central Hamilton will see the re-awakening of the goliath, and it will happen slowly and quietly. But its happening. Reailty prices have more then doubled in just five years, and not many have noticed, unless you live thier. The Delaware / St clair area has always been a hidden gem, but if you know Hamilton this area has been a hot spot since day one.

Nothing plastic about Hamilton. So many great old buildings!

Great photos of Hamilton. Despite what I've heard some say, I think it's a nice city!

I assume you're talking about the St. Clair area, which yes, is a true hidden gem. A lot of long time city residents don't even know about it. Most people assume everything east of downtown is ghetto, but this area looks like it has been nice from day one: Edwardian and Tudor Revival homes in an early 20th century streetcar suburb with several boulevards modeled after the city beautiful movement situated right at the base of the Niagara Escarpment. Nice!

Fans of Hamilton should check out the TV series "Cra$h and Burn"

Many movies and tv shows are filmed in Hamilton, but this show is actually set in Hamilton.

Hamilton takes a prominent role in the show too. It's portrayed as a gritty post industrial city with complex intertwining relationships among various ethnic groups and organized crime. Many scenes show great views of the city.

It's actually a pretty good show, but unfortunately it's not airing in the US yet. I think it's only on the cable channel Showcase in Canada. You can view it online however:
