Your trip looks marvelous and your pictures are beautiful!

however, I am not sure why so many people are still posting self taken photographs in the Cityscapes section. In the future please start all such threads in the Urban Showcase section, and reserve the Cityscape section for threads of properly credited photos by other people.

Ever day there are more and more threads of London pictures, I'm also sick of seeing them. Your thread however, is one of the first to actually give us DETAILS! I love it so much, and I love that you chose a very large city but picked a theme for your photos. Beautiful!

Beautiful pics. You captured the elegance of stately London. I can recognise most of the places you photographed Royal Academy, Portobello Road, Paternoster, British Museum etc, sections of the West End basically. but I'm not familiar with your last pic. Is that the V & A and a newly developed part of it? Anyway, wonderful tour, would be even better if you could label the pics and briefly give some impressions.

No, it is the atrium of the Royal Opera in Covent Gardens during the interval of the opera La Traviata performed last Saturday evening.

Great pics - nice to see you got away from the more touristy areas.

St. James's area in London filled with many narrow streets lined with typically
English shops selling everything from antiques, paintings, clothes, wine etc.
