I got on the DLR at 745am - 8am this morning and it was fine.

Mind you, I was only going to Canary Wharf and not Bank.

The announcements kept banging on about service disruptions during the entire journey though

3023 was reported in service on the Eccles line yesterday. Same person reported 3024 out as well. This the first day for either units?

I'm pretty sure I've seen 3024 out last week and maybe even earlier

Ah cheers. Couldn't remember if it had been reported or not. So we now have 25 M5000 able to be used in service then.

Has anyone been keeping a track of when the M5000's were being delivered/coming into service?

I saw one at the OT depot this morning with no numbers or spots on the side. Not sure if it had a number on the front.

Presume which ever one that was is the newest.

Yep, 3052 came last Sunday morning, it was expected on Saturday, but think it got delayed at the ferry due to the high winds. The front of the delivery lorry was at the top of the Queens Road slope when I went past on the replacement bus on Sunday morning (10am-ish)

Yeah that is the 3052, as kris has said.

But when u think about it they be using three M5000 trams on the Oldham line so really they have 22 M5000 trams out in Service.

Some twat has peeled off the sticker on the sign at St. Werburgh's Road so now it says "Trams to E. Didsbury & Airport" on the platform. Might email Metrolink to let them know, could confuse people!

Perhaps they are making quicker progress than we thought?

What I meant is there is 25 M5000 they can use on the line for what ever they need them for.

Do they need the dual fitted trams for driver training on the Oldham Line?

If it leaves from the depot outlet they can use what ever M5000 they want. No conventional signals on the Oldham line.

Ah thanks. So there's no actual need to use any of the dual fitted yet and you could, if you wanted use some of the new trams.
