My mom always says: "As long as there are idiots in this world who will pay such ridiculous sums of money, then why not?"

There are many new private jet services to be launched in both the UAE and the Gulf, for example, today's launch was... Grand Aviation Dubai.

Bahrain air is not the airline set to cause 'a stir'?

Is it needed?! I heard many flights are running full quite often to various routes, but is it REALLY essential to have a 3rd airline?

Is it really essential to have a 190million passenger capacity for Dubai within the next 5 years?

Who knows.

(Besides God, and the Bush family)

I asked the question at the press conference during the Dubai air show and at best, the answer I got back was wishy-washy.

I doesn't seem feasable by any stretch of the imagination, that even in 10 years, Dubai will have an air passenger throughput of over 100million (let alone 190 million) passengers.

But then people are used to saying that Dubai's growth is unfeasable and somehow Dubai always seems to prove otherwise.

That's your answer right there.... the intangible "can-do" attitude of Dubai coupled with a general sense of confidence and success is what makes the impossible, possible, in Dubai

The only logical explenation I see for this, it would be to get more slots on destinations EK can't be given more.
