To think that a large portion of this area was an abondonned industrial area with ugly, abondonned buildings only 15(?) years ago or so.

That is an impressive looking area. I'm amazed that it is a former industrial site. I'm always glad to hear when old brownfield sites are being redeveloped (IE London Docklands, Hamburg Hafencity) etc.
