The residential tower is being excavated. Like the office towers, it will be on terra firma -- not a platform. Therefore, it can start immediately. It should be pretty tall since it's supposed to be around 1m sf on a pretty small site. 225 W 57th is a little over 1m sf, and 432 Park and One 57 arearound 750k.

I don't think that it will crack 300m, as it will be a rental in a subpar area, but it should be at least 275m tall.

Great News! So are the renders posted aabove the final designs for this project? 275 m would be sweet for the residential component of this project.

Hmph, I wonder what the height of the office towers will be. In the renders they look to be about 300 meters but it's hard to tell since there are none of the taller NYC towers for refference

we are looking at 18-24 month to complete the platform deck and associated MEPs, misc steel, etc.

it is possible, however, that brookfield may look to incorporate the start of the tower cores now, with the platform foundation work.

One57 is about 1MSF and 432 Park is 500K, if I'm not mistaken... 225W57 is 1.3M.

Wow, 225 Park will surely be quite slim according to these figures

So theoretically, it could be between 306 and 426 meter. In the end it will depend on how large the site is and how slender the design is. 275 meter is a great height as well.

I dunno, but 1,5 million seems to be a bit too much for 157. It looks to be too thin for such a number

Interesting. I have a hard time believing it's 1.5m sq ft. That's awfully big. Maybe it's taking into account the total land area?

Indeed, If these numbers are true than 225W57 will have less floor area while being 170m taller, than it must be a very slim tower.

No one knows. These things will be on the shelf for a long time, as they will be competing with many other new buildings that seek tenants. I have a feeling that Brookfield will add even more residential.

In the renders they looked to be approximately as tall as the lower tower of the previous design, which was 285 meters, but those are only preliminary renders, so nobody truly knows the height. However, seeing their footprint isn't that small and they have 2 million square feet each I don't expect something really tall.

I predict that two residentials will be built on this site and one office tower.
