Went with old belly towers described in the title rather than boring placeholder boxes of late.

Nice job. The Brookfield towers (or at least the tallest in that render) wont be that tall though. Could you add One Hudson and Girasole too?

Looks about right to me, considering the fact that the observation deck ( of the HY North tower ) is about 340m/1110 ft, so it looks the good 371m/1216 ft high.
And Two Manhattan West is also right because it will be 5m lower than the Equinox tower.

Neither of the Brookfield towers are going to be 371m. Theres not nearly enough demand for that.

Just curious! Some of you are saying it's not going to be that high.

Was there an official press release of new height? I tried searching but could not come up with anything.

Or Is it just pure speculation that it will not be built that tall?

Also where did we get the figure of 1,216 ft in the first place?

I dunno about demand but the most recent renders do indeed look like both of the towers are the same height, which is arround the height of the shorter one from the old renders. The old renders can be considered a previous design that won't be built, since otherwise they wouldn't make the new renders different

For those of you who are interested on how they will construct the deck platform in the Hudson Yards.

Deck Engineering & Technology

Two iconic office towers will soar as high as 62 stories above what is currently undeveloped property. Railroad tracks leading in and out of New York’s Penn Station are located, partially uncovered, 65 feet below grade. Brookfield is utilizing post-tension precast segmental bridge technology to build a deck over these tracks, allowing for the construction of the office towers without disrupting the passage of the trains.

Neither of them are being built anytime soon unless Brookfield gives a tenant a great deal, which is unlikely, since it seeks to make money.

Eventually, there will be demand, and Brookfield will build every square meter of its air rights on this site and its adjacent site, 450 W 33rd.

There's an article about the Hudson Yards district in the 20 April 2013 NY Times. It mentions most of the projects in the area. It states that the residential tower will be 57 stories tall and will have 900 units.

I wonder where they got the 57 story statistic for the residential tower in that development. Seems rather unspectacular for a site with so many air rights. Maybe they confused it with another tower in the area?

Indeed, a residential tower with 57 floors is about 200m. And with 900 units it won't be a thin tower.

I think that it will probably be around 250m.
