is that the site of 1 or 3? it's tough to tell from that angle. It looks somewhat far west on the overall area. I know the 3rd photo is right next to the site of Tower 3.

The beer belly office towers are nice enough, but would have been better if the roofs sloped.

If they sloped the roofs they would basically be copying the Hudsen Yards towers. Due to their proximity it might look awkward.

They kind of look like shorter (but still tall) modern versions of the old WTC.

Except the WTC towers were boxes like 432 Park. These aren't.

I wasn't really referring to that even though they are somewhat boxy. I was more referring to the fact that they're twins and most of all, the dark mechanical bands around the top really remind me of the old WTC.

They're cool buildings in any case, I approve

I think that they're ok. They're not terrible, but I hardly love them.

I think the facade will make or break them, but the rendering looks good.

they probably will be the closest thing to the old WTC which will be built in Manhattan. If it weren't for the Hudson Yards towers the similarity would be even greater since they sit next to each other N/S near the Hudson.

yes, allthough they will not be that dominating in the skyline and will have a more glassy look.

I really like them... not the most daring look but a good one that will help fill the midtown west skyline nicely though would have liked Brookfield to have gone a couple of hundred feet taller. The renderings look good.. let's see if it follows that because the glass seems really nice. Love that reflective glass!

Further Unlike the twin towers, though their beer bellies are oriented in different directions. The north tower's belly Is on the west facade.

The bases are different too. The south tower's base consists of five segments. The north tower's consists of four.

Obviously Manhattan West campus ain't no Hudson Yards campus but I think it's going to be real nice and a great addition to the Hudson Yards district as a whole. The design of the towers isn't amazing bit I think it's interesting with the "beer bellies" and just glad they will not be plain boxes. I will be very happy with the current designs.

Is that for one of the main towers or the smaller residential one?
