This is the closest project I've seen in a while to a "Twin towers" concept. Boy, if they really wanted to make an impact on the skyline they could've made them something like 1500 ft tall. But enough should've/could've/would've, this is still a nice looking complex for NYC.

Went to go visit the new Hudson Yards subway station today and caught a glimpse of the cladding going up...

It's truly wondrous and and amazing glass... Completely reflective with smooth curves, the long range picture doesn't do it justice.

I never thought I'd be this excited about a reclad of this building lol

If the whole building ends up looking as good as the part that is reclad, you might be able to alter the old saying as Brookfield has found a way to polish a turd!

I believe he was talking about the 'turd' being 'polished', 5 Manhattan West. That's AP's current digs. However, AP is leaving for downtown. http://www.ap.org/Content/AP-In-The-...arters-in-2017

I think 200 Liberty is actually one of the World Financial Center/Brookfield Place Buildings.

Was starting to wonder about this. A trip is massively overdue. Whole area is bustling with construction. I was just checking some maps over at ssp, and the amount of construction activity from 6th Avenue, 30th to 59th street, facing the Hudson is off the charts.

The building is still a turd.

What is needed is a reclad of the tan walls to make it look decent.

The whole area around Penn is a turd too and needs a major overhaul.

I thought the renders showed that the entire building was going to receive a glass fašade? I could be mistaken, though.
