They have 2 major offices, the other is in Toronto. Their formal HQ is NYC, but they have probably close to 100k square feet in Toronto too. The space they are looking at in Brookfield place Would be to move their NYC headquarters.

Their formal HQ is in NYC, they have more office space in NYC and the majority of their market is in the US, of which NYC is vital as a communications hub. So, sure, they have an office in Toronto geared towards the Canadian market, but NYC is their primary hub.

That doesn't look like it's for the actual tower, there are no columns sticking up. That's probably the street level plaza, the tower itself will be further back where the deeper hole is.

If their target is North America, 1 main office location in New York and the other in Toronto doesn't seem very spread out to me.

They also seem to exclude Mexico, as it's part of North America, and also Central America.

Nobody cares about hockey outside of Canada and the U.S. And even in the U.S. it's a B-list sport after football, basketball and baseball. And it looks set to be eclipsed by soccer within a decade as well.

Hockey is absolutely huge in Germany, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

Well, ''absolutely huge'' is a little exaggerated, but it's not unpopular.. The thing that's ''absolutely huge'' in Germany is soccer.

To be fair New York and Toronto are by far the leagues largest markets. New York has 3 teams and Toronto is the single most valuable team in the league.

Hockey is big in Canada and the northern US, they recently moved a team from Atlanta to Winnipeg, a city 1/10th the size in Canada, as it was doing so poorly in the south.

Anyway, back to Brookfield place. What's the ETA on above ground structural components?

The building corners look amazing in the 3rd picture. Like a Samsung Edge phone

I still am waiting for a final render of the two full towers, rather than just pieces!

I don't think they would be very different from previous ones.
I appreciate these street level renders just as much as they give a very detailed image of this project.
