It definitely is the windy city!

Next stop: anywhere!

This was taken from Seattle's Best on the second floor of a book store

IMO Chicago has the best skyline of any North American city, it's varied and long with some awsome architecture and two of the best bookend towers you'll ever find.

Great tour Tuscani01!

Heheh Chicago rocks!

Too bad for the weather though, but Chicago looks great still. The bean looks so modern, the reflex is awesome. And in the pic from the top of John Hancock Center Chicago looks a bit like Toronto heh, I had never seen that angle.

Thanks for the pics, I always like to see Chicago here.

Ps: how long does it take from the GTA to Chicago? When I was in TO I thought of going there for a weekend trip, but as I had a single entry visa I stuck with Canada only heh.

Thanks for the comments people!

Chicagogeorge, I loved my visit and Im already wondering when my next visit will be. There is still so much I didn't get to see or do.

shmidt, We spent the first night in Grand Rapids Michigan so we wouldnt be driving all day. I believe its an 8-9 hour straight trip to Chicago. I also thought it reminded me of Toronto a lot... and thats a good thing. It felt almost like home, just MUCH bigger.

You caught the essence of a gloomy chicago day. Excellent shots, and many of the great views I stop to gaze at on a daily basis fortunately- still enjoy these views anytime- thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit here.

Great photos, it's such an awesome city.

I'm amazed by all the ice on the lake though. It looks ******* FREEZING.

It was actually a nice day despite the 5 minute heavy downpour and clouds. Me and my buddy walked around downtown Chicago in a hoodie whereas in Toronto I wouldn't have been able to do that without freezing my ass off.
