Good idea Erebus. Would be really cool if you could get the new shot almost identically with a tram in same place and then see it update over a time period

Sounds like a challenge! I'll give it a go! So, if you see any one in a chair, at the side of the road by the tram stop here with a camera and ipod in-ear, be sure to give me a wave, hello or toot.

It was as real ugly slab before the paint job. But I am sure somebody will say they preferred it before.

I like this building. Obviously, I like whats replacing it more, but its a shame that this has to go, cos theres a lot more shit out there that should be replaced more than this one.

I like it too .If I remember correctly , the problem with this building is that it doesn't work internally . Seeing the before / after photos they did a great job on the facade . I'm glad we're getting a splended tower to replace it .

I've never seen any pics of that pre-refurb before! And now I'm sorry that I have!

Before the refurb it looked just like it is but without the orange bits. The white strips were still there, I think.

Some great photos on here. I've always had a soft spot for KT but she's had her day and it's great that we've got a "thread of rememberance" for her now - I'm sure KT's final moments will be recorded on this thread too Here are a couple of my photos:

You sure? Those photos don't show any white stripes at all.

I think they removed the white stripes during the refurb. I am not sure, but I am sure I have seen a panoramic picture from Snow Hill before the refurb where it shows Kennedy Tower with stripes on it.
