Hmmm... kind of strange, but it looks to me like a cheaper-made, WalMart version of the Empire State building.

I like the tower, and the height and the location really surprises me. Are the other highrise projects in Santo Domingo going to be in the same sort of area as this?

Well, that's the new most exclusive residential Avenue in Santo Domingo,"Anacaona Avenue"... there's a huge boom in that area, look at this towers that are u/c in that Avenue:

........There's been strong's rumors that Ritz-Carlton it's planning a 50 story Hotel in the avenue and we have the most outrageous proyect fight ever seen in the whole area because there's a proyect called "Metroplolys" that will have 2 towers with 100 fl in and 3 towers with 80 fl and the neighbors are totally against it but the area has an unlimited height decree but every single Dominican that lives there is freaking rich so there's like status power over there now....ohh i forgot that there's a lot of 20+ buildings u/c right now there.

Damn it! Even Santo Domingo will have its supertall!!
Where's Brazil's?!?!

Please, I'm not saying Dominican Republic doesn't deserve it, but Brazil is one of the greatest powers of Third World... São Paulo has a project in Campo de Marte, but I don't think it'll be as tall as this one... =/

Wow, this isn't the least bit out of place. No of course not, I'm not being the leasttt bit sarcastic, oh no. Great look building in a 1990s kind of way (not sarcastic this time) but seriously sticks out like a sore thumb no matter what is being built around it.

ohh well is your point of view

for me this building makes me look at the past and at the modern times, is like a little of each, im not being sarcastic also, i also like the high, it will matches with other towers we already have here in the city

imagine, what maters is the high, the design and the interior off course, and when you come and visit in a plane everybody will see this amazing building as very powerful , and with a great view of the sea!
