Kung nag condom si manny, wala sana siyang anak o mga anak sa labas.
![]() Pacquiao: If my dad used a condom, I wouldn’t be here now CANDICE MONTENEGRO, GMA News A world-class boxing champion, the very epitome of male virility, has found common cause with Catholic bishops who want to keep sex sacred and procreative. Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, now a member of the Lower House representing Sarangani province, was among critics of the Reproductive Health (RH) bill who shared testimonies on Friday, in one of the biggest anti-RH bill gatherings at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila’s famed Rizal Park. Pacquiao, who could not be at the rally, sent a recorded message instead, where he said the RH bill will prevent “blessings” from being born. “Kung nag-condom po ang aking ama, si Mommy D (Dionesia), wala pong Manny Pacquiao (If my dad and Mommy Dionesia used a condom, there wouldn’t be a Manny Pacquiao),” he said. He also said the RH bill will cause the degradation of the youth’s morality. “Bilang ama, ayoko po na turuan ang aking mga anak ng kalaswaan. Kaya po ako’y nakikiusap na labanan po natin ang RH bill (As a father, I don’t want my children to be taught such lewdness. That’s why I’m asking you to fight the RH bill),” he said. “Sa aking paniniwala, labag po ito sa kautusan ng Panginoon. Hindi po ito solusyon para labanan ang kahirapan. Ang solusyon ay labanan ang korupsyon (I believe the bill is against the Lord’s teachings. This is not the solution we need to eradicate poverty. The solution for poverty is fighting corruption),” he told a cheering crowd of 40,000 according to police estimates. Among other notable attendees of the anti-RH bill rally are former Manila mayor Jose “Lito” Atienza, Lanao del Norte Rep. Aliah Dimaporo, leader of the El Shaddai evangelist movement Bro. Mike Velarde, lawyer-broadcaster Jose “Ipaglaban Mo” Sison, and lay evangelist and author Bo Sanchez. |

They might be checking their hidden accounts and possible Latin American asylum just in case Gutierrez was impeached and their possible implication to some tainted government deals will be revealed.
Arroyo couple leave for US by Eric Apolonio Manila Standard March 26-27, 2011 Former President Gloria Arroyo, now congressman of Pampanga, and her husband Jose Miguel, left for the United States aboard a Cathay Pacific flight, three days after the House of Representatives voted to impeach her appointee to the Office of Ombudsman, Merceditas Gutierrez. Mrs. Arroyo and her two sons, both also members of the House, had voted against the impeachment of Gutierrez. Mr. And Mrs. Arroyo boarded Cathay Pacific flight 906 via Hongkong around 11 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International airport terminal 1, minus the retinue of politicians and aides who usually accompanied them on their trips abroad when she was in power. Pampanga’s 2nd district representative said that she would be away for a week to conduct a series of meetings with the Filipino Community in Los Angeles. The couple checked in at the Cathay Pacific counter, and joined other passengers lining up for the immigration clearance. They removed their shoes and were bodily frisked for the final security clearance before proceeding to the boarding gates. Mrs. Arroyo toted a piece of luggage while husband Mike had a regular size hand-carried luggage. The couple looked relaxed. She wore a printed dress with floral design; he donned a dark-blue suit, a blue tie, and a vest over light gray long-sleeved shirt.

No Merci in the lower house was due to the scare tactics employed by LP stalwarts to solons who planned to vote against the impeachment. It was revealed that this Congressman Abaya circulated a text message saying that those who would vote NO will receive zero pork.
This was never investigated by the House. The leadership never called for an investigation. Belmonte is LP, remember. Prior to the voting last week, Belmonte gathered his colleagues for the grand plan. What now? Do we expect the same to happen in the Senate? With the recent survey showing that majority of the Filipinos are in favor of the impeachment, there are hands controlling the game once again. The same hands which use to press the controls of a PSP on weekends with a chubby little boy named Josh. |
