vladorlando, I sent two pms to you, as you ignored the first, giving you a chance to
credit the photos properly and clearly at the beginning of your entry as per the rules of
the forum, and you sent a pm back to me refusing to do so. The intent of this rule is to clearly
state that the photos are not ours and that they have been taken by someone else. If we can specifically credit the artist who took the photo that is best, as they deserve the recognition. The embedded coded address inside the photo says nothing... I personally use "Photobucket" to upload all of my pictures, but that was just the tool I used to prepare them for this forum.... it does not tell us who took the photographs. Thank you.

Tawdry colours. Kitsch. It seems Moscow feels inadequate.
In my opinion Moscow tries to copy flash Western life but still in Russian way...
"Moscow has 3rd largest city budget after Tokyo and New York. And Moscow has very high social spendings". Huh?
Thanks for these pictures.

never.
Do you really think 5 vitreous skyscrapers represent standard of luxury life? I do not think so. Norway, Iceland and Denmark are not famous for skyscrapers, but their social and economic level is at the top of the world.
Moscow reality is made of 15 percent of the rich and 85 percent of the needy. And you even aim at Chicago... what an idea!

you have to stop watching fox news and reading wsj. read something less biased or with less false, like UN - Gini index, HDI. they are a bit old for moscow, but they are available.
absolute majority of population in moscow is a middle class.

The budget of Lithuania equals to budget of Moscow McDonald's. Sometimes lithuanians like to visit New York to see the buildings with a number of floors more than 2.
Russians as always are very envious and see enemies wherever possible.
To tell the truth, I do not care what you think or what you know about Lithuania There are just your (poor) intellectual faculties.

How would you know anything about Moscow if you have never been there?

COMCON, a market research agency in Moscow:
In Moscow the average is 1000 dollars. And in Great Britain, for example, the average is 2640 dollars. At the same time, the middle class there makes up 55% of the population. But here in Moscow it only compromises 15% (and 5% of the rest of Russia). Russia’s sputtering economic reforms have knocked many people below the poverty line. Even in Moscow, many senior citizens who have no other source of support but state pensions subsist on as little as $1.70 a day.
Russia was found to be similar to Latin America.
Moscow’s middle class now consists mainly of workaholics; 58 percent of them do not take time off when they are sick, and 53 percent agree that they do not take preventive measures to take care of themselves, such as regular checkups or flu shots because they are too busy. This phenomenon seems to be an extension of the Russian paradox, confirmed repeatedly by the World Bank: in Russia, the poor are not unemployed; rather they work long hours for little money"
Moscow middle class portrait:
53.7% men and 46.3% women
Average age - 35 years and 9 month
18-24 years old – 15.8%
25-34 years old – 28.1%
35-44 years old – 33.9%
45-54 years old – 22.2%
