If the photos were all taken by you, why did you post this in the Cityscapes section?
I will move it to the Urban Showcase for original photos.

what percentage of the highrises in Miami actually have street level interaction? some look very closed off to the public, does Miami just rely on a lot of their town centres?

Great Photos! The beach and the water look amazing. Looks like you took those shots from the Townhouse.

Great pics!
Miami in some pics looks like tropical paradise! The towers and buildings behind palm-trees indicate that we are in Miami...

Excellent photos. I especially like the shots of the city centre skyline taken from a distance. Lovely greenery and wonderful weather too!

judging by all the crane activity I dare to asume that only five years ago the city must have looked a lot different! I thought America was suposed to be in a real estate crisis, or did that only affect "small people"?

Very beautiful city, but it looks out of reach for the many, is it!?

"Out of reach?" Hell no. Miami is cheap right now. Gas is expensive but the real estate market is saturated with for sale properties.

I live here and it does not feel like I am in the US. It's a very strange city but come Winter time it is heaven. The ocean is warm here year round.

These photos do not portray the active street life here. Compared to the rest of this very backwater state of Florida this is actually considered urban.

Miami is a loud place. People blast their music and seem to prefer the sound of loud mufflers. Cell phone rings are some of the most obnoxious that I've ever heard. Even the birds are loud. As you can see colors are not shy either. There is nothing subtle about Miami. It is crazy.

I don't really care for condo and beach highrise architecture but some of these are really nice. Great to see such height under construction!

Paradise city!

All of the high rises in the core have normal street level interactions, some better than others, but if they are in the core they are all urban type.
Town Centers? Do you mean those things in the burbs? Theres none of those in Miami, only out in the west suburbs.
