Butakovka Residential Complex & Club Resort: Developer: Asia Construction, LLP Architect: Behnisch Architects http://www.behnisch.com Project start: 2006-2008 Area: 56.000 m2     The residential complex Butakovka near Almaty, Kazakhstan, with so-called townhouses, villas and multi-functional clubhouse comprises a total area of around 13.5 hectares. Each house design proposal incorparates the attractive sloping site, makes optimum use of the local topography and integrates the beauty of the landscape with its rivers and trees. The multi-functional building in the center is a built landscape rather than house. Various public amenities such as fitness studios, cafés, restaurants, a cinema, a kindergarten and a swimming pool offer an attractive environment. The townhouses are positioned in the West like large trees on the edge of the topographically distinctive site and can be constructed to an individual scale depending on the requirements. They present an urban landmark in the landscape, offering views to Almaty Center from their top floors. The Villas in the East are surrounded and interfused with the landscape, offering on each floor views towards the valley and mountains as well as a large amount of sun on the south, east and west sides, on which generous terraces are situated. The well-calculated placement and orientation of the buildings in the landscape is just one of many ecological features, as well as various passive measures inside the buildings. Проекты действительно классные, только непонятно - это три концепции для застройки или 3 разных комплекса в одном месте? Радует отсутсвие окон-бойниц и переход к полноценным "аквариумам".
