Chicago's great... we can damn well afford a "nothing's special but it's okay" page. This thing would be big news in some other cities.

Btw, I agree. I think it's pleasant and would be great to live in.

^ I was just thinking that. In a city like Omaha, Des Moines, or even something like Indy or KC, I think people would be very happy and almost excited about a tower like this going up.

I just look at it in Chicago and wave it off with my hands, mutter "carry on...carry on.."

We're so spoiled! Can you imagine the mid 90's, when NOTHING went up in this city. God, I'd go insane! I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon, nervous though.
