Some quite major steelwork going up round the entrance today, this really is a radical overall. I had my doubts about this staying so close to V, but I have a feeling it may well now be fit to sit beside the lower echelons of the mighty V

No matter how good it looks, I'll always be thinking of the extra height the V building would have been if they'd have moved the hotel into it..

Looking good, looks similar to Centenery Plaza but with the added benefit of actual brick walls under the cladding and no darn plasterboard!!!!!!

Already a thousand times better than what it was before. I think this renovation has turned out in my opinion just as well, if not better than Brindley House.

I think the steelwork frame on this extension is almost finished. It certainly looked it today. The crane was still on site though.

I took a couple of random shots of this while avoiding geese yesterday. It is a vast improvement on what was there before - this comes from someone who hasn't been into the city centre for several months.
