The Mayor has announced that apprentices in Greater Manchester will now be paid the national minimum wage (£5.60, £7.05, £7.50 depending on age) not the apprentice minimum wage (£3.50). This means apprentices in Manchester will now be the highest-paid in the country.

Nice bit of density starting to form around 1st Street. Plenty of more land to develop at the back of 1st Street.

Any interior views of the new Oldham cinema/town hall conversion?

It looks like there could be a nice big bit of open space inside which could be pleasant.

Hi guys. Just stopped by to say hello, and show my solidarity. I always loved your music, your freedom and rebel attitude. Don't loose it. From France, from Paris with love. We are with you in this. One thousand hugs.

Thousands come together to unify in support.

Quote:
Thousands of people have gathered at a vigil in Albert Square to remember people who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena attack.
Twenty-two people were killed and 59 injured when a suicide bomber struck at a sold out Ariana Grande gig on Monday night. The arena which holds up to 21,000 people was filled with mostly teenagers, children and family's.

This is the deadliest attack to hit the United Kingdom in over a decade and the biggest terrorist attack to hit the city of Manchester. Tributes are pouring in from all over the world, Prime Minister Theresa May was in the city today visiting Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. The Queen paid her respects holding a minute silence, calling the attack an 'act of barbarity'.

Last night #RoomForManchester was trending world wide on Twitter with Mancunians offering up accommodation for anyone who was in need. Taxis meters was turned off, hotels offered free rooms, homeless people rushed to assist the injured.

Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said: "The people of Greater Manchester showed the people of the world how much we care, how much we care about one another, and how much we care for those in need."
