Looks like around 3,300 apartments either under construction or shovel ready, a pretty decent total. House many of those are in and around the city centre?

There are 1,651 apartments currently under construction, and 8,534 apartments either under construction or holding a planning application.

All of these are within 2.5 miles of the city centre, most are in the city centre/central Salford

I was walking around town the other day, there is so much construction work going on around the City it looks like one big building site, amazing, Manchester and London really are leading the way on construction in the UK
