Nop, they are working on the small one first according to what I've heard.

And about Panama being compared to Dubai, everybody knows is in terms of the real estate field, only that in a minor scale, and as I said before to those who just post to say nonsense about other aspects of Dubai we don't share or care, please just try to be more objetive and intelligent the next time, is not that difficult to figure out what the slogan means. And yes is great to be compared in that field to Dubai, I'm sorry if that bothers some people. I mean this is a skyscrapers fans page, and for me what's happening in Panama is great in terms of skyscrapers construction, but that's just me because I love tall buildings.

Megapolis

Is there going to be good access to the hotel? When I was there it looked like a small street for such a big project. What floor are they now working on?

Yes, they are building another access through a bridge at the end of the street you mention that will connect with another area of the city.

^ You should have a look on the panamanian forum. The panamanian forumers are on this part of the forum quite inactive at the moment..

I don´t know about "stealing the limelight"...that phrase means taking attention away. Forumers are less "
up to speed" on what´s happening in Panama City
in comparison to mega Dubai and the shock effect perhaps would be greater if the a larger portion of the whole forum had the
awareness of all the construction and projects, proposals ect. Panama City is experiencing.

Thats all.

Hello! Does anyone know if the hotel will rent out the bigger apartments facing the sea? Does anyone have any idea about cost of furniture packs? And finally, closing costs and mortgages?! Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I am buying the small condo/hotel unit and the furniture package comes with it. I was told that the larger units could be included in the rental program.

Yes it is. From what I've read in the Panama forums (also their's another thread for this one in Skyscrapers), the taller tower doesn't have much of a chance.
