Biggest changes on the diagram for...:

- 23 Marina: only one more regular floor, but 7 more meters. I guess no new plans have been released, so this could be already the first beams of the next floor. Or have you updated your calculations, Culwulla?

- Pentominium: on diagram of 09/02/09, excavation is only shown 3 levels deep, and now 5 levels down to full depth. I hope this corresponds with the progress on the site, as an indication for a definite future for this leader of the next generation of Marina skyscrapers.

It's nice to watch The Torch and The Princess Tower racing to be the next tallest. I'd bet The Torch will be the winner for a short time.

^yes ive said all along torch will win because its shorter then princess tower., thus finishing first.
23 marina is too slow. must have something to do with its form work construction. much slower then central core.

When do you think the Torch will be topped out judging by current progress?

i know that you don't asked me, but i think they will top out it by october/november under following circumstances: 1 floor per week and a three month construction period for the sloping roof feature. We all know that tops of building need a relative long time to be built. So my guess is somewhere between october and november. Or it could even takes longer, we could also face following scenario, they built the next 28 floors to have the floors comppleted. Than they concentrate more on MEP works and the cladding and first than they begin with the roof feature. Mhhh what do you guys think about my thoughts?

The next floor to be cast will be the double-height service floor, and due to the change in plate size this was always expected to much longer than the previous floors which were being achieved in roughly 6 days. Once the tower rises above this service floor in late March we are expecting to see progress return to one floor every 5-6 days. Currently the day shift averages around 1000 workers on The Torch, and with external cladding and internal fitting continuing as planned we hope that purchasers will be getting some assurance now that the developer is fully committed to delivering the project in the shortest sensible time frame from here on in.

hey Culwulla, you can also add Marina 106 to your diagram. Height is unknown but floor count is 107 floors

He can, BUT it will never be finished that quick that it will be the worlds tallest residential tower, therefore i think Cul can leave this diagram as it is!

Awesome idea !

If I look back - 2-3 years ago there was also a monthly diagram with the tallest towers !
Difference is that, that the towers are 100m shorter
