if you look at my latest diagram, Torch is approx 2/3 built, and princess is approx 1/2 built.
thus torch will win the race to open before Princess.
the torch is basically 300m tower with 40m of architectural crap on top which wont take long to erect.
so another 30 floors or so to topout, then it may take a little while to add the 40m of roof feature to surpass Q1.
but then again, look at al attar tower, its been topped out since september08 and its roof feature still hasnt been added?

Unbelievable to see a picture of a small area where currently they are constructing eight supertalls AT THE SAME TIME! IMO this will NEVER happen again. It will be definately a visit worth!

I agree, as for now he can leave it that way, but later he might insert 106, as soon as construction speeds up.

great updates guys
I know what this diagram is about I fully understand that you don't want to add it to your diagram, but maybe you have to look a little bit closer. Marina 106 has 107 regular floors, that means more floors than Torch, 23 and Princess, but less than the Pentominium. On top there is a roof and spire which has the height of about an other 15 floors, that makes it much bigger than princess and only slightly lower than Pentominium.

My point is that Marina 106 is in excavation status and the only slightly bigger Pentominium is currently in pilling status, which is IMO only a small difference. Because 106 should be easier to construct I think it is possible that it tops out before Pentominium, thus forming the missing link between Princess and Pentominium. I believe Pentomiunium will take a long time to construct because of its 'balconies'.

Marina 106 will be 400m or 1312' although it should be noted that the height hasn't been confirmed.

the typical highrise residential floor height for units in dubai seems to be about 3.65m.
if this is the case. marina106 has 107 floors thus 390m to roof, then the see thru strutcure which equals another 20m= 410m to top. then another 25m for spire, thus 435m in total?
so it will maybe a wt resi before pent

It's probably an assumption because it's in the Tallest Block, although the render shows it to be a smooth "no balconies" tower.
Sky Living.co.uk lists it as "apartments and studios". Note that the height in metres is "?".
