Will the Torch have an ob deck? If so would be great view as Imre mentioned. And also in Princess Tower I know there will be some sort of mosque, can anybody enter, or do you need to be a muslim living in that tower or something?

that is exactly what I meant,

It is a high density of these kind of buildings and it is like blocks and blocks of the same, I would hate to live in one of them. Buildings apart of the good materials and well done construction, needs a bit of soul. And they look empty of this. For me are like buildings with no soul. For people to leave like chickens in a farm...

Wow, that really does look amazing!
Just my opinion, but I think that the record for the tallest residential building should be measured to the highest residential floor.

in theory

theoretically speaking how tall can a building be made without constraining limitation based on gravitational pull, atmospheric pressure, earth size and etc.

I find it ironic that the two (current) tallest apartment buildings are in Australia, which has extremely low population density, and the two tallest buildings in Australia are apartment buildings. Has that already been said? (I haven't read all of this thread)

Are there actually enough people in that want to live there or are this all going to be emty buildings bought by company an private investors? Is there a graphic of some sort that sows the increase in population in relation whit the available houses?
