I hate using the word Retard. But i feel Obligated to do so at this moment. So !

If you walk into a retard school and one of them comes up to you and says a load of rubbish , would it insult you ? ofcourse not.

So yeah , no offense taken mate

p.s being a blabbering bafoon and expecting people to respond to you in a grown up mature manner is stretching your luck - fact of life 101

If your idea of architecture is getting a bunch of japanese millionares to build a wall of concrete uglyness with ugly metal balcony bars overlooking stagnant man made lakes in a city where the grass goes brown when you dont get rain

then so be it

If ignorance is bliss, you must live one happy life. Perhaps if you could see beyond the confines of your ass-hole, you would realise that Dubai has plenty of ugly concrete buildings (albeit tall ones) with metal balconies. And guess what? They were built in the past decade. The Gold Coast's ugly buildings are at least 30-odd years old .

These man-made "lakes" you speak of are actually "canals" and they're connected to the ocean. Still consider them to be stagnant? Despite the obvious fact of the tide going in and out, and thanks to the wind, waves are formed -- they're also an abundance of life.

Never had a dork from Dubai rambling on about man-made "anythings" in a derogatory manner before, but I guess there's a first for everything. As for brown grass goes; I'd rather walk on it than desert sand.

Have a good day sweetheart.

That's one of the best towers ever proposed for Dubai. It actually has class and doesn't look like a 5-second sketch in a desperate attempt to build tall.

1- I did not say Dubai doesnt have ugly buildings , real cities tend to have those you know

2-Okay then , man made canals ! and they are stagnant in parts , seen it with my own eyes. and they are an eye sore. and smell bad. and hell yes an abundance of life is present.

3- 30 odd years ? WOW ! we have buildings in Dubai 200-300 and one 400 year old structure. Take that ! and Dubais old WTB was built almost 40 years back. Do your research first.

4- " I'd rather walk on it than desert sand." 3/4 of your continent is sand.

this has NOTHING to do with the gold coast or a dubai vs GC , Thats not my style , just responses to your childish absurd claims.

p.s personal insults are a sign of weakness mate have a nice day

So I take it you're pretty weak, as you basically delivered a personal insult to "Pat Riot" by insinuating he is stupid in one of your previous posts? Why? All because his view differed from yours. I'm just going to come out and call you stupid because you are, and it's obvious.

So why did you take such offence when I said that one of the clusters of buildings in Dubai was ugly? I'm not the only one who thinks that Dubai's buildings, even as a silhouette from a distance clash. But hey, Dubai is such a "real" city and all.

Time and time again you surprise me with your stupidity. Thank you. I need not say much more as you seem to be doing a good job of making yourself look stupid without my assistance. If the canals here are an eyesore, what do you classify the "Palm Jebel Ali", "Palm Jumeirah" and "The World"?

And again... You see, you went on to compare a cluster of Dubai buildings built in the 2000s with a cluster of Gold Coast buildings built in the 1970s. It was never a case of history and I don't care how old the oldest buildings in Dubai are.

Right... which is why majority of the population live on the coast...

Yes, that would be my guess, too. But no idea how to get it together with diagram and renders... it seems that 23 Marina is at the top of the vertical shaft now.

Amazing that monstrous buildings like Al Marsa and the Marina Pinnacle are now starting to look somewhat puny.
