The biggest problem though, is that you don't choose a winner in 24 hours, it takes way longer then that to evaluate the proposals and the implications related to their implementation on the ground.

The public vote was just for show and totally unnecessary.

The Italian one doesn't show, the Spanish one is extremely unclear it just looks like plywood on there, and the New York one doesn't really fit the center. The Dutch one is cool but maybe a little over the top and the french looks cool but kind of unclear.

I think the Libeskind project is weird and impractical.

What Tirana needs is not futuristic and unattainable projects. It needs something more practical, that will enhance the square.

Sidoqofte, per mendimin tim te gjitha propozimet calonin, edhe fituesi, edhe ai i Libeskind-it. Kjo mbase vjen sepse ka nevoje per nje kohe te gjate mendimi dhe reflektimesh per te kryer nje studim te kesaj kategorie. Se pari, dhe kete nuk e ka bere asnje nga studiot pjesemarrese ne konkurs(pervec asaj spanjolles qe deri diku e kishte kapur si situate), sheshi i Qendres se Tiranes ka nevoje per nje zonim apo konturim, pra percaktimin e qarte te kufijve te tij, dhe pastaj per modelim te brendise se te tij (kjo per mua do te ishte dytesore). Keshtu sic eshte sot, eshte tejet i rremujshem dhe i shperndare, dhe e vetmja gje qe i jep sens eshte carja gjatesore e bulevardit. Do te me kishte pelqyr vertet qe qendra e Tiranes te mbante emrin e Libeskind-it, por ne fakt propozimi i tij me zhgenjeu disi. Edhe te vetmin orientim qe ka kjo qender, propozimi i tij e kishte nderprere dhe copetuar me nje super-hark gjigand(edhe pse me pas u shfajesua duke thene se ky harku do te kete carje dhe transparence) qe e mbyllte pamjen e bulevardit. Ndersa per studimin qe u shpall fitues, te them te drejten, as me ngrohu, as me ftohu. Deri diku mire, por kur erdhi puna e asaj piramides se shkallezuar...
