What's about the decision of allow (or not allow) spaces without chairs?

As I know, the government decision allowing spaces without chairs is temporary, just for innauguration's day and poverty's match.

Do you guys think they will definetily allow spaces without chairs? Or they just will give a time to Arena's for getting compliant with the rules?

At Beira-Rio, Inter also intend to remove the chairs in the spaces located behind the goals. So, also we are interested in this discussion, because surely the same requirements for Gremio's Arena will be required for Beira-Rio.

Both times they played at Gigantinho, the old (and crumbling) indoor gymnasium of Gremio´s archrival, Internacional (its located at the side of their stadium, Beira Rio)

can Iron Maiden fill up a larger venue in Porto Alegre? Well, certainly they can fill a place larger than Gigantinho. In 2008, they sold all 15 thousand tickets for Gigantinho in 24 hours. And 15 thousand at Gigantinho means a lot of people getting crushed and barely being able to watch the show.
Interesting stuff. Well, at least there is a decent sized venue in Porto Alegre. In my home city of Bristol nothing ever gets built, so I have to visit other places in the country to see my favourite bands. Fortunately, though, England is a small country (Download and Sonisphere festivals, and other music venues are only ever a few hours away), whereas you guys in Brazil would be on a coach forever due to the country being monumentally huge.

Here's to hoping you regularly get some concerts and other events in that impressive, shiny new stadium.

when Iron Maiden played at Rock In Rio 3, I went to Rio in a hired bus (only metalheads inside). 26 hours travel...

I think Gremio Arena is much better in all of this aspects, but is just my opinion...
good to you!
it is shame that in 30 years they will probably demolish it, and build a new one!

And about Minerao there many things I do not like there either!

My God! What a horrible turf! What's happening? Is this normal or any problem with the turf?

european winter grass seeded in the ultra hot Porto Alegre summer. Apparently it doesnt suffer that much IF its already grown and strong when summer arrives.

however, if its still growing, and also hurt by the Desso GrassMaster machines, it needs several weeks to recover in the summer

the fact is that the turf looks worse than 1 month ago.

we expect the turf to look good only by february.

AT LEAST, since the Desso Grassmaster system was installed all over the pitch, there wont be any problems of holes or grass tufts being torn from the pitch in a sliding tackle.

Mixing artificial grass with real grass? What a disgrace, modern football is disgusting...

The artificial grass is there solely to help to the natural. It will be mostly underneath the dirt. Also, it is not a 50-50 mixing. The best way to describe it is that the pitch is natural, with a support of artificial grass to hold the roots.

They could easily increase the size of the pitch if they want it to.

It's right, the roof has only 5% of artificial grass.
