Spring is usually later in North America than in Germany/Europe. For instance, there is still snow on the ground here in Toronto and across Ontario...we had such huge snowfalls, that even temperatures above 0C still can't melt it away. We've been experiencing unusually low avg temps. like -5C when it should be +5C...however, we can experience temperatures 25-30C throughout September, which doesn't usually happen in Germany.

yeah this week has been great photography weather -- today was a little hazy but when the sun comes out Seattle pops!

Seattle is beautiful. I need to check out the West Coast one day.

Here in New England in the opposite side of the country, the snow is long gone, but the trees still don't have leaves yet and the flowers are not out to bloom. However, with all the rain that we've been getting, I think that everything will be in full bloom and green by the end of April.

Seattle actually gets it early compared to the rest of the northern US. Here in Chicago the grass still isn't very green, the trees are still completely bare, and the flowers haven't bloomed yet. It sucks! I'm always jealous of Seattle that they actually start to see flowers blooming even in February, though it really seems to kick into high gear in late March & early April.

We're suppose to have a very mild weekend, so I'm hoping the flowers at least start to bloom in Chicago. Fingers crossed that we can finally get some signs of spring to appear here.

Wow...that tall building wasn't there (at all) when I was last at that exact spot in August of last year. Looks awesome!

Thanks for sharing...the time til I move back is counting down!

Generally about 18C or 19C, though it can range from about 10C to the upper 20s C sometimes. The flowers will be out by that point, the grass should be green, and the trees will be sprouting leaves. Ah, just 4 weeks away from May (one of my favorite months of the year).

Now back to comments on Super Seattle.
