Is that a reference to my "photo blog"?

It is a bit stupid to complain about this building, especially since it's so close to the subway station at Aurel Vlaicu.

Traffic is not much better in Manhattan though, but at least they do have an extensive metro system and people are discouraged to use their cars. For example the Bank of America Tower (which will be completed this year) doesn't have a parking garage at all!

No, it's not.

It's worse in sheer numbers*, but it flows differently, more efficiently and it's more orderly AFAIK. But the most important thing is that they have a terrific mass transit system and 75% of Manhattan's residents don't even have a car.

*there are aprox. 3 million cars in New York City.

The traffic in Bucharest may also start flowing differently if they implement more one-way streets (which they said they will).

That's the only thing we can pick up from Manhattan (regarding car traffic). Oh and... they probably get fined and towed away if they park their cars in the middle of the street.

There are plenty of things we can borrow from NYC in regard to the traffic and mass transit problems. I think it's best to look both at European cities and large North American cities, and primarily New York in order to get the best solutions. But that's just my idea... we all know we'll be in the same shit for decades to come, I'm pretty sure of it.

You idiotic people, skyscrapers don't paralyze traffic! Poor infrastructure and a stone age mass transit system paralyzes traffic! According to you Manhattan should screech to a halt, yet not only it doesn't, but traffic is better there. Ever wondered why, you red-ass macaques?

If they haven't seen it...it means it will not hurt their brains isn't it?

I do agree with you Cosmin and probably you've seen my previous post ...there are a whole bunch of people around lacking of pure common sense withregards to how a city should look like!

Ludovic Orban: Inel feroviar alternativ in jurul capitalei, cu investitii de circa 300 milioane euro

In maxim o luna va fi decis amplasamentul aeroportului din sudul capitalei si va fi publicat anuntul pentru modernizarea soselei de centura din aceeasi zona, a declarat ministrul Ludovic Orban in cadrul unui simpozion organizat de Ziarul Financiar.

Cosmin, no need to say that I am with you on that. Idiots like these (journalists) shape the public opinion by giving the wrong facts and presenting them biastly.

I will be back on this forum in a month or so, now I can only follow what is being written.

Cheers!

Dear Mr. Adrian Fulga,

I am under the impression that you are a bit too formal on the forum. Why is that? I see you're 33. Chances are more than 80% of the Romanian users on SSC are well below your age so I see no need to be so formal.

I hope you will not misinterpret my words and look forward to more intelligent and informal discussions with you and other fellow forumers.

All the best,

ISV has a very cool style! They are very "in" architects.

This photos refer to a Greek or Romanian project?
