Sunrise's 28 Mont'Kiara is World's Best International High-rise

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunrise Bhd's latest luxurious condominium project 28 Mont'Kiara located in the high-end enclave of Mont'Kiara in Kuala Lumpur has been accorded the World's Best International High-rise Development at the International Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television.

Sunrise deputy executive chairman Datuk Allan Lim Kim Huat accepted the award at a ceremony in London recently.

"Being recognised as one of the 'Best in the World' is testament to Sunrise's ability to compete successfully not just at the national and regional level, but also globally," said Lim.

"With this international recognition, our success is the result of the collective team effort contributed to all aspects of the development, to consistently deliver quality, innovation and high standards."

With ultra-modern architectural features,the 5.81-acre freehold project comprises majestic twin 40-storey towers offering 460 units of luxurious accommodation. Its relatively small building footprint (30%) frees up vital space for landscaping and recreation with a 50m lap pool, Wellness Garden, spa, jacuzzi, slide pool, children's playground, gym and more including numerous water features. Each home also enjoys exclusive privacy, thanks to a perimeter louvre and an individual lift lobby.

Unit size ranges from 2,535 to 3,000 sq ft, while the six penthouse units have built-ups of up to 6,465 sq ft. The condo is targetted at young families who wants posh living areas. It is close to the Mont'Kiara International School on the same road and the Garden International School a street away. The project is expected to be completed in June 2013.

Over a hundred entries from 36 different categories from around the world covering the residential and commercial property sectors took part in the Awards.
