I do like my own city most, but 12 Commonwealth skylines really stand out. In no order:

Kuala Lumpur
Vancouver
Melbourne
Montreal
Sydney
Toronto
Singapore
Auckland
Johannesburg
London
Calgary
Gold Coast

If you are looking for a head start with the Canadian skylines, there is a thread called Canada Skylines that you might like to peruse through. It's not a huge collection of photos, but it provides a nice modest documentation of about 20 different cities in Canada. Here's the link:

http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=493388

Vancouver, Burnaby, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Windsor, London, Niagara Falls, Kitchener, Hamilton, Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, St. John's, and even Yellowknife.

Of the British ones, definitely London.

Overall, though, Toronto gets my nod.

Maldive:

I finally added the 3 tower 16 York buildings to my render, which have an incredible impact on the city from this POV... unfortunately obscuring my beloved RBC (still one of the best skyscrapers in the world decades later).

I've also improved some buildings... and then for some reason desaturated the whole render.

Ah well, enjoy. Hope you like. I'm off to spam all those skyline threads in other forums....

I know thats not what the thread is about but I would rate the skylines this way:

1. Toronto
2. Melbourne
3. Sydney
4. Vancouver
5. Montreal

London has a great skyline too but individually, Canary Wharf or the Square Mile don't stack up to any of the cities mentioned above, although that could change very soon with the several great buildings under construction.

My list would be similar to Koolio's..., and London would be next on the list, too. London's strengths in the skyline department are its beautiful historicals. I'll admit I am nervous about a couple of buildings due to go up there; especially the Walkie Talkie building.
