MISC | Translate your citys subway station names

Here is what you do:
If you live, for example in Rome, you translate some, or all Rome subway station names to english. For example Termini = Terminal and so on.

Because there are no subways where I live, i'm going to translate Helsinki's subway stations.

Ruoholahti = Grass Bay
Kamppi = XXX (Its impossible to translate this station, because it doesn't mean anything
Rautatientori = Railway Square
Kaisaniemi = Cape Kaisa (Kaisa is a finnish girl name)
Hakaniemi = Cape Hook
Sörnäinen = XXX (It's impossible to translate this)
Kalasatama = Fish Harbour
Kulosaari = Kulo Island (Kulo doesn't mean anything)
Herttoniemi = Cape Hertto
Siilitie = Hedgehog road
Itäkeskus = East Central (Itäkeskus is a mall)
Puotila = This is hard. Puoti is an old name for shop, so it probably means Shopland or something
Rastila = Crossland
Vuosaari = Vuo Island (Vuo means really fast flowing river)
Myllypuro = Mill Brook
Kontula = XXX
Mellunmäki = Mellu Hill

There were probaly many mistakes, so I apology that.

I've seen this idea done before, though not sure if it was a previous thread here. Someone had run the station names from Madrid and Montréal through Babelfish. I do some investigating...

I guess I don't need to 'translate' London's Tube station names, but below are a few explanations off the top of my head:

Temple = Site of a Roman temple
Bank = Adjacent to the Bank of England
Monument = Named after 'The Monument', erected to commemorate the Great Fire of 1666
Waterloo = Named to commemorate victory at The Battle of Waterloo
Aldgate, Moorgate = 2 of the gates in the ancient city walls
Holborn = Named after Fleet river (now subterranean), once called 'Hole Bourne' along this stretch
Angel = Named after a pub (The Angel, Islington)
Swiss Cottage = Named after a mock-Swiss house overlooking the station
Marylebone = Corruption of the old parish name "St Mary-le-bon"
Elephant & Castle = Named after a pub, thought to be a corruption of 'La infanta de Castile', referring to a Spanish princess
Oval = Named after (Kennington) Oval cricket ground

Looking back I've found a literal translation of the Rome metro. I guess the Madrid metro in English is somewhere outside of SSC.

Some of these stations are badly translated and I assumed that you're Chinese.

Abdullah Hukum is just an arabic name. Hukum is not "Legal" in this context. Same goes to Masjid Jamek.
Sultan Ismail is referred to a late king of Sultanate of Selangor State
Anything that associated with "Seri" or "Dang" is just an additional name to a typical classic malay name.
Since malay words is heavily influenced from Sanskrit, I believe Setiawangsa, Wangsa Maju and Maharajalela are originated from it, though I don't even know what the meaning of these words actually.
