Few historical pics. As for the question you must be asking yourself right now, yes I am bored and I have nothing better to do than copy-paste all the independence banners of the past 8 months in the archives.
I think the banner should include Tel Aviv/Ramat Gan, natural landscapes, Jerusalem and an historical pic.

Now I get the idea, thank you. Of course we should include Tel Aviv & Jerusalem, but do me a favour, NO AZRIELI. Or at least not just Azrieli. Same goes for the Dome of the Rock.

No, Country was divided to khanates...after 1920, Persian empire took the south part, USSR stole north part

Gulistan was 1st part of the agreement.

Iran did not take a part of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan was a part of Iran. It was during the 19th century that the USSR took a part of Azerbaijan from Iran and the reason for split for the region. That why today you have the provinces of Azerbaijan in Iran and the county of Azerbaijan.

The Treaty of Turkmenchay (Russian: Туркманчайский договор; Persian: عهدنامه ترکمنچای) was a treaty negotiated in Turkmenchay by which the Persian Empire, more commonly known today as Iran, recognized Russian suzerainty over the Erivan khanate, Nakhchivan khanate and the remainder of the Talysh khanate, establishing the Aras River as the common boundary between both empires, after its defeat in 1828 at the end of the Russo-Persian War, 1826-1828. Here is map to show ,35% (North Azerbaijan) given to Russia, 65% to Iran..



Unfortunately, only North gained freedom and some parts become armenia, georgia, the city of derbent become Russia. Azeris in Iran yet not free but if there will be conflict in Iran, I am sure they will gain their freedom
